After an incredibly long Season 1 in Halo Infinite, we have big news on Season 2. Season 2 is going to be called Lone Wolves and Halo Infinite’s developer “343 Industries” has been revealing improvements and additions.

One of the major improvements includes new maps. Level designer Tyler Ensrude describes Catalyst as a symmetrical map for Arena “nested high up inside of an expansive, tunnel-like Forerunner structure” with “waterfalls pouring down around suspended catwalks, overgrown cathedral walls, and a light bridge connecting the sides of the map together.”

Meanwhile, he described Breaker as an asymmetrical map that is set in “a Banished scrapyard where each team’s base is a huge chunk of ship debris, divided by the plasma cutting beam structure in the middle”.

Meanwhile, he says the plasma cutting beam will be “a dynamic element of the map that presents both opportunities and challenges in gameplay.”

This change is huge and many people expressed their excitement online on sites like Twitter and Instagram. Halo Infinite just keeps growing more and more.
